Basically, since the day I met Sarah, she has been fascinated, frustrated, intrigued and annoyed by my use of the word nubbin. I can see that, since the true definition of nubbin is a moving target. In this post I hope to all at once define the word and still keep the definition a mystery,if you will!

    For clarity:

    http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/nubbin

    nubbin (plural nubbins)

    1. A stub, especially a stub of undeveloped corn or fruit.
    2. (informal) A small protuberance, bud, bump, knob, or the like.

I’d like to also add that anything, small… cute… or otherwise un-described can be considered a nubbin as long as the Nubbinator. wow… I just pulled nubinator out for the first time! I like it endorses the use of the word. I’d also like to point out that not only did I pull out Nubinator, I crowned myself the Supreme Nubinator!.

So there you have it… You know what a nubbin is, isn’t and how it can vary depending on any number of factors.

Don’t expect a contiguous thought to follow… So did you know Publix provides free rain wear for shopping? Neither did I! I saw it and was excited. That’s when Sarah forced me into a moment of oddity! She said “Go ahead… put it on”. Hey, there were 10 raincoats hanging outside of publix… whats a guy to do! Well, I put one one and headed into the store. That’s when it hit me… 98% of all grocery store employees work within 100 feet of the front door. This is going to be scary! Well, I just walked with confidence as Sarah did her best to make it look like she was not with me. We went to buy wine and I told the guy at the counter that I thought it was great that they provided complimentary rain gear. He was a bit “taken back” by the whole situation. Such is life! I left, hung up my pancho-4-a-while and walked out recommending to other patrons that they use the rain gear. I think they thought I was odd… I don’t get it.

Now, World of Warcraft – ah… nevermind, I will probably tweak a bunch of dorks and they will want to hack my site or something.

I feel oddly drawn to use the word “Limmony-Snickets” … I don’t know why! That sort of leads me to my latest blog insanity. The Scott Dictionary. Look for a new installment coming soon!
