Turning Failure into Success

As some of you know, I have been doing the #30dayabchallenge. It's getting REALLY hard for a guy who in his life may have done 120 situps… now doing over 100 two days in a row on top of 150 crunches and all the rest of it is really well…. hard.

I had a rough period around day 4-7. I got all screwed up and caught up and then stuck to the program until day 21. I was tired, I was not feeling like doing it at all and well – I just went to bed. I told Cindy I was going to do it, she said take a day off… (it was late) and I just "quit". The entire next day I felt like crap (that was yesterday). I really thought I was going to quit. I was sure of it. I couldn't do day 21 and 22 on the same day, no way. What to do?

I decided to make it a 31 day abs challenge. I just started on day 22 with day 21. Today (23) was supposed to be a rest day, but I did day 22…tomorrow will be a rest day. I just added a day in there.

This is success – I didn't quit. I fought through my own internal bullshit and am going to finish the 30+1 day ab challenge. It's only a failure if I quit… right?

I'm trying! As long as I keep trying – I keep going!
